Oprah Winfrey includes Grandvewe in her Aussie show!
In December 2010, Grandvewe Cheeses got word that their Sheep milk yoghurt would be used in a desert that would be served to the audience members of the Oprah Winfrey's Aussie tour show. Federal Tourism Minister Martin Ferguson revealed Port Arthur was among the places the 302 Oprah supporters are expected to visit. Although there could be as few as six on their way to the tourist drawcard, they will be accompanied by TV crews. A spokeswoman for Harpo Productions, Oprah's production company, said it was not releasing details. A Tourism Tasmania spokeswoman said confidentiality agreements stopped it commenting on the likely visit, which included funding details. But the state appears set to have its moment of fame on Oprah's show, which will reach millions in 145 countries early next year.
